MPA is excited to be returning and having the next group of performers at our 2020 Winter Workshop. We take the health and well-being of your children, the church staff, the MPS staff and the parent community seriously and have adapted some of our routines to adjust to becoming a Covid-Safe environment.
How are we doing this?
- Parents and caregivers will be asked to drop their child off at the door and refrain from entering the building unless it is essential. (A teacher will be present at the front door for sign in and sign out.)
- Enrolment numbers and attendance options will be limited to 30 students in total.
- An extra teacher will be present allowing students to be divided into smaller groups as much as possible.
- The Friday party will be a wrap party for students only. There will be no performance with an audience in attendance (Don’t despair! Our movie making workshop will be just as amazing and families will be gifted a copy of the movie once editing is complete.)
- Hand sanitiser stations will be placed at entry and exit points and around the hall.
- Bathrooms will regularly be sanitised and will be well-stocked with soap and hand towels.
- Frequently touched areas and surfaces will be disinfected several times a day with a detergent or disinfectant solution or wipe.
- School students do not need to follow physical distancing guidelines, but should follow good hygiene practices like: • Regularly washing hands • Avoiding sharing drinks or food • Coughing or sneezing into your elbow, or a tissue which should be discarded immediately.
- Students and family members are advised to tell a staff member if they are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, have been in close contact with a person who has COVID-19 or have been tested for COVID-19.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
